According to a mission helping refugees:  Germany, as most of Europe, has experienced a rapid increase in
 refugees from the middle east, particularly Syria. The main stream media usually omits the following
Good News about these refugees:
 Many refugees are very curious about Christianity. In their home countries, expressing such curiosity could
result in jail or worse. They come wanting to know how to become Christians. This is particularly risky in
the refugee camps. But some refugees refuse to assimilate and are promoting Islam (Shira law) in Germany.
The refugees that come to Christ testify of God working miracles in their families, of being delivered from
dangerous situations, and of finding favor with local authorities. God is winning many to himself.
Because they see God moving in so many ways, they become very excited about serving Him. 

 Our workers help the refugees navigate the citizenship process. Germany allows work permits for some refugees,
 but is very strict about giving citizenship. So many have been in Germany for many years (10+) on work permits,
but have not received citizenship. Some of these are then informed that their citizenship request has been denied and they are sent back to their home countries.
