Show us the Father

Philip said,

"Lord, show us the Father and

that will be enough for us."

John 14:8 

Jesus' disciple Philip seemed

a foreseer.

He might have thought all would

be fine if they could meet

God before Jesus‘ departure:

Because Jesus already had talked

his departure several times to

his disciples.

Jesus' answer was astonishingly

different from the Philips' regards.

John 14-16 are the most heartfelt

Jesus’ promises and request for

his beloved 11 disciples: It was his

last night on earth after last passover

supper before his crucifixion about

12 hours.

“Let my love and my life and my

inheritance be made known to all ”

For this he promised everything:

He promised sending his Spirit,

the Holy Spirit.

His beloved 11 disciples received

Jesus promises of all privileges

as his children and workers.

Now this is the same to all

his children.
