Holy Spirit
I will not leave you as orphans;
I will come to you. John 14:18
Jesus' disciples lived with
Jesus for 3 years.
It was a new family.
Jesus was God, parents, teacher
and best friend to them.
This short life was normal namely
heavenly one.
This Jesus said he was about to
leave them; they were beside
themselves by this.
So he told them.
"I will not leave you as orphans;
I will come to you."
Jesus came back to his disciples
after he redeemed the sin of
mankind on the cross, resurrected
and ascended into heaven as
the Holy Spirit.
Now he lives forever in
his children who believe in him.
Today’s Christmas booklet page 41
is continued, the Bible chapter to
memorize each month.
These chapters are the core
Christianity, only in Christian faith.
Now it is the chapter for May, John 14.
John 14-16 are the most heartfelt
Jesus’ promises and request for
his beloved 11 disciples: It was his
last night on earth after last passover
supper before his crucifixion about
12 hours.
“Let my love and my life and my
inheritance be made known to all ”
For this he promised everything:
He promised sending his Spirit,
the Holy Spirit.
His beloved 11 disciples received
Jesus promises of all privileges
as his children and workers.
Now this is the same to all
his children.
