            Promised Son Isaac family

Isaac prayed to the LORD

on behalf of his wife,

because she was barren.

The LORD answered his prayer,

and his wife Rebekah became

pregnant. Genesis 25:21

After 3 years of Isaac’s mother’s

death, he met a well nurtured

second niece Rebekah who came

from his father’s far away homeland.

The old and faithful family senior

servant prayerfully brought

her to him by Abrahams’ asking.

Isaac learned from his parents

that he is the one through whom

God would bless all nations, and

he believed it since childhood.

When Isaac was probably teenage

his father Abraham tied him up

on the alter of the burnt offering

after 3 days of journey on

the Mt. Moriah; and the father

took his knife to kill him

by God’s command.

Right there God stoped the father.

It was not only the passing test of

the father Abraham for faith in

God but also for the son Isaac.

For the 20 years of childless

Isaac and Rebekah who has

become a woman of faith in God,

they waited for the Lord in faith

with hope like his parents.

Isaac prayed for her to have

a child.

God heard his prayer and as

God’s thought is as higher as

sky then ours he gave them

twin boys.

From the second one Jacob,

the nation of Israel raised.

Faith of Abraham and Sarah

has been passed down to

their son and daughter in law;

from the parents to the children.

May is called queen of season,

month of love.

In May are children’s day whom Jesus loved

especially, parents day, couple’s day, family day,

missing children’s day and labor day in Korea.

All these are for people.

The love of God who admires people so much

that he blesses all of them with natural blessings

and he so desires them to love each other,

be happy and prosperous.

God’s love is like blowing the silky May wind.

Love gives us joy, strength and awakens all

my dream and potential. God loves me so.

What is love?
