Tragic King Solomon’s family

You must not intermarry with

them, because they will surely

turn your hearts after their gods.

Nevertheless, Solomon held fast

to them in love.

He had seven hundred wives of

royal birth and three hundred

concubines, and his wives led him

astray. 1 Kings 11:2b-3

King Solomon is one of the most

tragic kings and hard to be

understood.

He is the one built

the golden temple for God and

dedicated it to God on the sea level

800m high city of Jerusalem.

He was the most wise and wealthy

personally and lived in a cedar palace

decorated with pure gold: He is the

one wrote numerous proverbs and

writings about wisdom to fear

God and to live successfully for men.

God was so pleased with him and

appeared twice, and heard

his request and granted him:

God promised with him for blessing

and told the right way of living.

Solomon had not been experienced

sufferings really.

From his birth, 20 years of prince life

had been lavished and 40 years of

king’s life had been even greater.

As like father like son, the sin

his sage father king David

committed he did it much worse,

it was women related.

He had 700 wives and 300 concubines.

How a man could remember

all the names?

Well, he is Solomon . . .

Those 1,000 beauty looking women

with various religions, culture

and guile, they dare were able

to turn King Solomon’s heart from

serving the Lord God only.

At the end he even had temples

built for them to worship

their demonic gods.

His life ended at the age of 60,

relatively short while saddening

God, the nation was to be divided

and finally destroyed.

May is called queen of season,

month of love.

In May are children’s day whom Jesus loved

especially, parents day, couple’s day, family day,

missing children’s day and labor day in Korea.

All these are for people.

The love of God who admires people so much

that he blesses all of them with natural blessings

and he so desires them to love each other,

be happy and prosperous.

God’s love is like blowing the silky May wind.

Love gives us joy, strength and awakens all

my dream and potential. God loves me so.
