Young man Mark
A young man, wearing nothing
but a linen garment,
was following Jesus.
When they seized him, he fled
naked, leaving his garment behind.
Mark 14:51,52
We should learn Mark’s family,
house and his life to prepare
and welcome returning Jesus.
It was Mark’s house where
Jesus had last Passover meal
at the last night on earth, in a
big house at a large upper room.
Gospel John chapters 13-17
took place there.
That night young man Mark
sensed what had happened in
his house was not ordinary; so
around 3 o’clock in the morning
he went to the chief priest
court in hurry.
He put only a rather expensive
linen garment which can be used
as quilt went to the court where
Jesus was on trial.
After Jesus prayed the final
“. . but not my will but your will
be done” the bloody sweat dropped,
and an angel had to assist him.
Jesus was alone on trial.
The disciples who were with
Jesus all night last night in his
house was none but surrounded
by murderous armed soldiers,
teachers of law and chief priests.
In this murderous environment
anyone who associated with
Jesus appeared to be sentenced
Mark was seized, he fled naked,
leaving his garment behind.
Long time after his failures
by God’s grace he had been a
fruitful elderly God’s worker:
He wrote Jesus biography
remembering this night:
The second New Testament
Gospel Mark.
May is called queen of season,
month of love.
In May are children’s day whom Jesus loved
especially, parents day, couple’s day, family day,
missing children’s day and labor day in Korea.
All these are for people.
The love of God who admires people so much
that he blesses all of them with natural blessings
and he so desires them to love each other,
be happy and prosperous.
God’s love is like blowing the silky May wind.
Love gives us joy, strength and awakens all
my dream and potential. God loves me so.
What is love?
