Cleansed the temple

Then he entered the temple area

and began driving out those who

were selling.

"It is written," he said to them,"

'My house will be a house of prayer';

but you have made it

'a den of robbers.'" Luke 19:45,46

For about 6 months Jesus walked

into village to village casting out

many demons, teaching

his kingdom and healing the sick.

Now the last week of his life

he entered to Jerusalem with

people’s shouting of

Hosanna which means “Save us”.

The first he went into the temple

erected by king Heroth for 46years

beautiful and magnificent.

Where people and priests were

selling and buying lambs, goats

and pigeons for passover sacrifice.

It was noisy and messy.

The leaders were selling

sacrificial animals expensively

with the cheapie.

It was a high profit time for leaders.

As Jesus said temple is his body

where people meet God, namely

house of prayer.

Therefore their hearts must be clean.

Clean heart makes clean environment.

Only clean heart can see God.

See what Jesus did !

He drove out the animals and

turn off the tables of money changers

and drove all them out.

Cleaning was his first work in

his temple, in the Church.

Since the Solomon Temple for

1,000 years such a thing was first.

Lord Jesus who searches each

one’s heart did cleaning work

5 days before his crucifixion. 

Last Sunday was Hosanna Sunday.

This week is the Passion Week.

It was the week that Jesus finished

his 33 years of life on earth and

the mission.

The process was obedience and

suffering themselves, the death.

Thus he gives life back to me and

the menkind that is eternal and abundant.
