For your perfection

We are glad whenever we are weak

but you are strong; and our prayer is

for your perfection.

This is why I write these things

when I am absent, that when I come

I may not have to be harsh in

my use of authority--the authority

the Lord gave me for building you up,

not for tearing you down.

To be born as God's chid is very easy.

Jesus died on the cross for the sin of

mankind and has given eternal life

to any one who believes it so

one can be born spiritually and

become God's child.

It takes no time nor anything

but believing Jesus only.

A robber by the side of Jesus' cross

had been become God's child by

this confession of faith;

and soon after he was executed.

And now he is in heaven.

He lives in all glory as God's son.

And he is growing in heavenly steps

because he moved to heaven as

a spiritual new born baby.

It is good to be God's baby as

he believed but it is even better for

you to have time on earth to grow.

Spiritual growth is growing after

Jesus' character which is joy

because it is love.

When you love you become perfect.

Love is desire for the one whom

you love to be well.

For him to be well, you do your best.

Apostle Paul urges before his visit to

the Corinthian Church believers,

to grow perfect to share joy together

instead of being spiritual babies since

they were spiritually born some time ago.

Then he has not to deal with such

behaviors of babies and goes indignant

and grief.

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the 

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.  

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
