Those who live according to

the sinful nature have their minds

set on what that nature desires;

but those who live in accordance with

the Spirit have their minds set on

what the Spirit desires. Romans 8:5

According to the roots, stumps grow,

leaves stronger and they yield fruit.

No matter how great and beautiful

the sinful nature is its root is

corrupted by the original sin.

Those who live according to

this sinful nature their minds

set on sinful desires.

Those who live according to

the Holy Spirit their minds set on

the desires of the Holy Spirit.
