Proof

Are they servants of Christ? (I am

out of my mind to talk like this.)

I am more. I have worked much harder,

been in prison more frequently,

been flogged more severely, and been

exposed to death again and again.

Five times I received from

the Jews the forty lashes minus one.

Three times I was beaten with rods,

once I was stoned, three times

I was shipwrecked, I spent a night

and a day in the open sea,

I have been constantly on the move.

I have been in danger from rivers,

in danger from bandits, in danger

from my own countrymen,

in danger from Gentiles; in danger

in the city, in danger in the country,

in danger at sea; and in danger from

false brothers.

I have labored and toiled and have

often gone without sleep;

I have known hunger and thirst and

have often gone without food;

I have been cold and naked.

2 Corinthians 11:23-27

Yes, his life proves who he is.

This life proves that Apostle Paul

is God's servant.

Just like my life proves who I am.

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the 

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.  

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
