                             As I want

For I am afraid that when I come

I may not find you as I want you to be,

and you may not find me

as you want me to be.

I fear that there may be quarreling,

jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions,

slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.

2 Corinthians 12:20

Apostle Paul was afraid if he see

again that those young believers who

have lived deep in the world continue

the sinful worldly life style.

Apostle Paul and his mission team

were afraid of those sins which are

filthy and very destructive; and

their toil for Corinthian Church

could end futile.

Greatest desire of nurturer is

his disciples grow according to

Jesus character so that they

can be clean and fruitful.

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
