Christ is powerful

This will be my third visit to you.

"Every matter must be established by

the testimony of two or three witnesses."

I already gave you a warning when

I was with you the second time.

I now repeat it while absent:

On my return I will not spare those

who sinned earlier or any of the others,

since you are demanding proof that

Christ is speaking through me.

He is not weak in dealing with you,

but is powerful among you.

2Corinthians 13:1-3 

Before the 3rd visit of Apostle Paul

to Corinthian Church which had

to be transformed.

Because our fighting is not in 

natural realm but supernatural;

the fighting with

a very good God and evil spirit.

God so desires us to be holy so

that he can give peace, love and

prosperity.

Evil spirit so desires to make us

filthy in other words to commit sin

and not to repent so that our life

can be destroyed.

That is evil spirit's only purpose.

Before Apostle Paul's third visit,

the final visit to Corinthian Church,

his so imploring letter finishes with

powerful authority as their nurturer.

He could not disregard their

sinful life style which was warned

to deal completely.

He writes to them you want to

know if Christ Jesus is truly in me,

he says yes he in me is not weak

but powerful.

Therefore I will deal your sin

powerfully if there are still.

Yes, we God's children must live

holy life as his inheritance.

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the 

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.  

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
