I thank God, who put into the heart of

Titus the same concern I have for you.

For Titus not only welcomed our appeal,

but he is coming to you with much

enthusiasm and on his own initiative.

And we are sending along with him

the brother who is praised by all the

churches for his service to the gospel.

What is more, he was chosen by the

churches to accompany us as we carry

the offering, which we administer

in order to honor the Lord himself and

to show our eagerness to help.

2 Corinthians 8:16-19

It is a process of expansion of Gospel.

Paul's mission team of dedicated

young God's workers voluntarily delivered

Paul's letter to the Corinthian Church.

The letter contained to resolve

the misunderstandings and to complete

the promised giving for the poverty

riden believers in Jerusalem.

Titus who was a team leader for this

journey as a growing spiritual leader

and other brothers with him in

the Lord were gentiles not long ago.

They are the fruit of the greatest

missionary Paul's nurturing risking his life.

Gospel is not chained then and now.

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the 

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.  

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
