This service that you perform is

not only supplying the needs of

God's people but is also overflowing

in many expressions of thanks to God.

Because of the service by which

you have proved yourselves,

men will praise God for the obedience

that accompanies your confession of

the gospel of Christ, and for

your generosity in sharing with them

and with everyone else.

And in their prayers for you their hearts

will go out to you, because of

the surpassing grace God has given you.

2 Corinthians 9:12-14

Giving is not only filling needs to

the needy but proves that those who

receive Gospel also obey God.

Therefore those who receive pray 

for those givers heartedly.

This is heavenly living.

The worldly life not only ungiving

but snatches with lie, steal and

use all sorts of evil ways to gain.

It does not make life better.

This applies to persons and nations alike.

See how much the United States gives

to the world . . !

For Korea she has even given tens of

thousands young men's lives.

She remains ultra super wealthy and

strong nation without pursuer.

​The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the 

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.  

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
