                         Servants of God

​

We put no stumbling block in

anyone's path, so that our ministry

will not be discredited.

Rather, as servants of God

we commend ourselves in every way:

in great endurance; in troubles,

hardships and distresses; in beatings,

imprisonments and riots; in hard work,

sleepless nights and hunger; in purity,

understanding, patience and kindness;

in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;

in truthful speech and in the power of

God; with weapons of righteousness in

the right hand and in the left;

2 Corinthians 6:3-7

Last week Judge Kavanaugh known

noble character and capable

hearing before the Judicial Committee

with oath was to be appointed a

Supreme Court Judge.

In the morning that same day

a hearing before the same Committee

with oath a woman accusing

Kavanaugh for sexual assault in

high school 35 years ago was

her describing it in detail.

Now an interviewee at the Fox News

tries to remind how Apostle Paul and

faithful God's workers suffered as the

Bible above describes to spread Gospel.

The same is now for God's workers

to bring back the USA to the Lord

since she has been drifted from

God for the last some 50 years.

Then and now God's workers going

through the same extreme suffering

in order to spread the Word of Life

and to live accordingly.

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the 

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.  

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
