                       The Love

For I wrote you out of great

distress and anguish of heart and

with many tears, not to grieve you

but to let you know the depth of

my love for you. 2Corinthians 2:4

The relational problem of

loved ones causes pang.

It was so between apostle Paul

and the believers whose

characters were still children

like in Corinthian church.

Because of this Paul was in a great

distress and anguish of heart.

He wrote a letter to them

with many tears.

The letter included

they should not have the same

pang Paul himself had for

letting them know how deeply

he loved them.

How can he love such people

who are like disown sons?

It was only by Jesus' love

which constrained him.

God's love pours out to his workers.

With this love it is joyful service

without is most strenuous job

in the world.

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
