Now when I went to Troas to

preach the gospel of Christ and

found that the Lord had opened

a door for me,

I still had no peace of mind,

because I did not find my brother

Titus there.

So I said good-by to them and went

on to Macedonia. 2 Corinthians 2:12,13

The Bible is a book with

a definite purpose to give

an eternal and abundant life

to people as a fact collection.

Therefore it includes all

the principles of the most big

and small details of life matter.

To increase educational effect

it fills with true case studies.

To spread this good new

the Paul missionary team traveled

the world and had much hardships.

Then transportation and physical

conditions were hard but

the most danger was Satanic

attacks and scheme to kill them.

Troas now in Turkey

Apostle Paul finally arrived to

where doors were wide open

by Jesus to share Gospel.

However Paul's mission team

member Titus was not there.

See what the greatest missionary

in mankind Paul did there ?!

He did not preach Gospel there

but crossed the wide Ege ocean

and came to Macedonia.

He looked searching for Titus.

What an irresponsibility,

ineffectiveness and lack of

perseverance . . . ?!

It seems fair to condemn him.

Although we do not know

Titus was sick, needed something

or simply Paul longed to see him

so much . . .

However Apostle Paul choose

personal love and needs by

the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is truly the book

written by the Holy Spirit about

infinite personal love and freedom.

It is not a lifeless another

religious book.

Praise the Lord Trinity of

Love forever!

The 2 Corinthians is the Apostle Paul's second letter to the

Corinthian Churches. Letter is the most intimate and personal.

Two thousand years ago, the Corinth city in Greece reminds

us today's New York city. The Corinth seaboard city was

then a center of trade, merchandize, wealth and luxury.

Also there was the Venus temple which led people not only

to moral deterioration but also sexual disaster.

The original location of Humanism, which against Creator God

and focus on human, the Corinth city in Greece lay in

spiritually formless, empty and darkness.

Here by God's mercy small lights began to shine. They were the

Lord Jesus' house Churches. They belong to the low social class.

Envious and jealous devil attempted to destroy God's

House Churches by questioning Paul's integrity and Apostleship.

And it caused to delay and complicate the promised loving

collection as well for the poverty stricken Jerusalem church.  

It was the process of the life giving Gospel to us, and it

continues so. How beautiful are the feet those who

bring good news !
