Filled with the Holy Spirit
When the day of Pentecost came,
they were all together in one place.
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of
a violent wind came from heaven
and filled the whole house where
they were sitting.
They saw what seemed to be
tongues of fire that separated and
came to rest on each of them.
All of them were filled with
the Holy Spirit and began to speak
in other tongues as the Spirit
enabled them.
Now there were staying in Jerusalem
God-fearing Jews from every nation
under heaven. Acts 2:1-5
After 50 days of Jesus resurrection,
10 days after his ascension,
It was the season of the first harvest.
It was the time the 120 disciples
who loved Jesus, learned and followed
him prayed together earnestly at
the Mark's upper room.
Where Jesus had the last supper
with the 12 disciples while teaching
and promising.
Here the Spirit of Jesus came as
the Holy Spirit from heaven to make
disciples of all nations through
his disciples by pouring
his love and power.
Like blowing violent wind changed
every praying ones hearts and
the fire like tongues stayed on
everyone by which the good news
should be preached.
It was during the Pentecost festival,
all God-fearing Jews from everywhere
came to Jerusalem to celebrate it.
They heard immediately that
the Holy Spirit came to them.
This is how started the life giving
great love story of good news
spreading.
Advent
Advent, the meaning is "coming."
The Greatest, God coming to the
planet Earth like a dust in this universe as
the Son of Man is Christmas Advent.
The peace of the people who wait for
Christmas and preparing their godliness with
joy before 4 weeks of it is Advent season.
Jesus as promised came 2 thousand years ago,
and accomplished his purpose of giving
to men the life and in its fullness on the cross.
Then he resurrected and ascended into
his kingdom throne.
Now this Advent is the season of
hope and glory for preparing Jesus coming
as a Judge of Justice as he promised
while ascending.
The Bible describes how close it is
Jesus coming again in detail as
the King of kings and Lord of lords
