The season of blossom,

April is the season of resurrection.

At the dawn of resurrection Sunday

this year God's people from

the 70 denominations in Korea

had a service at Yeonse University.

It was a great feature.

In churches easter eggs were eaten.

It was fun.

The substance of Christianity,

resurrection and its celebration was

so started and finished one Sunday.

Death all people fear of or

their most important life issue

that Jesus victoriously overcomes

by resurrection was not much

known in this season to those

who want to and must know

it to live.

Immediately the season of Queen

May follows and even before it

still in Jesus resurrection season in

April, Buddha birthday celebration starts.

Korea seems to be overtaken by its

banners, lanterns and parades

for whole month and even longer.

Foreign visitors in May may surely

consider Korea is a buddhist nation.

Buddha so earnestly sought

the truth of life and found its reality.

He is surely a saint.

That was life is suffering and

much of it from men's greed.

This is what the Bible tells and

most aged normal people know it.

Then men die. Therefore have

a pity on each other and be merciful.

This Buddha's understanding is

the highest level of natural goodness

because he was an honest truth seeker.

Later his faithful disciples made

him an idol and worship by adding

more concepts and rituals to meet

men's felt needs of avoiding

sufferings and receiving blessings.

This might have been caused by

various reasons, one of them a

managerial temptation including finance.

However, Buddha died at the age

of 82, was buried and returned to earth.

All men are done so.

He was great and saint but he was not

able to solve his death let alone others.

He proved himself a sinful man like

all of us by his death.

Because the wages of sin is death.

His disciples celebrate his birthday

out of thanks for his teachings

countrywide over a month

in the life rising beautiful May.

They really do return

their thanks in action.

How do Christians celebrate for

Jesus birthday and resurrection

who has given men eternal life and

made heir of universe?

How do we carry on to realize

Jesus greatest desire that all men

know this good news and have

life privileges we have.

The season has come again to

compare with these two celebrations.

Heralding the Jesus resurrection started from

the dawn of Jesus resurrection.

All people who knew this tidings ran to

tell their loved ones.

It is the same the best good news,

yet people who know it tend not to tell as they did.
