Regret
I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
This Monday morning after
13 hours of straight sleeping,
the side gate of the 2018 winter
PyeongChang Olympic Athlete Village
came a cross to my mind.
Those young athletes with some
physical disability with victorious
mind and their teams may
enthusiastically walk around to have
a final feeling of Korea and buy
some gifts for their home folks.
I should be there now to present
the Today's Christmas(tc) booklets
and high quality 3 color ball point pens
which they so appreciate.
It was the last presenting gifts.
Last Saturday about 6 O'clock pm,
at that side gate the 4 Russian athletes
in the car asked the ball pens.
I rushed to give a few with tc
their happiness and gratitude with
waving hands are unforgetable.
I should have stayed until today,
until most of them leave the village
and present all our gifts.
But I finished with our team which
left a few hours before to prepare
the next day Sunday.
I knew at the gate the job was not
completed, so kept asking
the Holy Spirit if my staying on
one more day although all were packed
to finish and it was getting dark,
the road was ice slip and it is
long way to drive home,
moreover I was pretty much sick
with the previous Olympic.
The Holy Spirit did not say,
So I made my own decision to come
home uneasily, feeling a very good
opportunity to share the Lord Jesus
to these young athletes could be missed.
This Monday morning,
it all occurred I should have stayed
at the gate until today because
most of them do no leave until today
and they try hard to get gifts now.
I regret so much, too late.
I was wondering why
the Holy Spirit did not answer me
when I asked to stay on or not
last Saturday evening.
One thing I realized.
I have deemed to finish
my centripetal missions with
this Olympic in Korea, and
the Holy Spirit continues with
young new people.
Now I should leave it to
the Holy Spirit as it is.
He faithful God keeps calling,
teaching and guiding us all for
his desires to be accomplished
including those athletes today at
the side gate of the Athlete Village.
May God bless them always!
Advent
Advent, the meaning is "coming."
The Greatest, God coming to the
planet Earth like a dust in this universe as
the Son of Man is Christmas Advent.
The peace of the people who wait for
Christmas and preparing their godliness with
joy before 4 weeks of it is Advent season.
Jesus as promised came 2 thousand years ago,
and accomplished his purpose of giving
to men the life and in its fullness on the cross.
Then he resurrected and ascended into
his kingdom throne.
Now this Advent is the season of
hope and glory for preparing Jesus coming
as a Judge of Justice as he promised
while ascending.
The Bible describes how close it is
Jesus coming again in detail as
the King of kings and Lord of lords
