Last Command 11
Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and
on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples
of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20
The last command, Great Command,
"Make disciple of all nations"
entails only two actions.
1. Baptizing people in the name
of the Father, and
of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit;
That is helping them to invite
Jesus into their hearts as
a Savior and to become
God's children who are
forgiven sins
2. Teaching God's children to live
what all Jesus taught the disciples
in order to help them live as
God's growing children in abundance.
To accomplish these two mandates,
Jesus promised himself to be
with all his disciples
surely, always and to the very end
of the age with
all authority in heaven and on earth.
Advent
Advent, the meaning is "coming."
The Greatest, God coming to the
planet Earth like a dust in this universe as
the Son of Man is Christmas Advent.
The peace of the people who wait for
Christmas and preparing their godliness with
joy before 4 weeks of it is Advent season.
Jesus as promised came 2 thousand years ago,
and accomplished his purpose of giving
to men the life and in its fullness on the cross.
Then he resurrected and ascended into
his kingdom throne.
Now this Advent is the season of
hope and glory for preparing Jesus coming
as a Judge of Justice as he promised
while ascending.
The Bible describes how close it is
Jesus coming again in detail as
the King of kings and Lord of lords
The Grace of our Savior be with you who wait
the Kingdom which will take away
our sorrow and cruelty in this life, and to start
his reign with justice and righteousness
forever is closing in this Advent season.
Maranatha ! Lord, Come soon.
