the world was not worthy of them.

They wandered in deserts and mountains,

and in caves and holes in the ground.

The lives of our faithful predecessors

reduced to those of animals

because of their faith in Trinity God;

to them the world and its properties

were not worthy.

They were seeing the beauty and joy of

God eternally.
