17.

By faith Abraham,

when God tested him,

offered Isaac as a sacrifice.

He who had received the promises was

about to sacrifice his one and only son,

God's Promise of a nation, a country with

Abraham was through the promised son Isaac.

​Then God tested Abraham if he is trustworthy

to receive the nation as the father.

That was offering the promised son Isaac

to sacrifice meaning killing and burning.

​There are two major fundamental questions

can be raised in this act for Abraham

to and about God.

Those are the God's promise and

God's character.

​Yet he did not raise that question

for another reason.
