​               Predecessors of our Faith

11.

By faith Abraham,

even though he was past age--and

Sarah herself was barren--was enabled

to become a father because

he considered him faithful

who had made the promise.

​

At the age of 75,

Abraham had the promise of blessed nation

from God but he did not have a child.

After the promise, 25 years had passed.

He and his wife Sarah had a son long after

child bearing age because they had faith in

God who made the promise and is faithful

and almighty.
