23.

Not only so, but we ourselves,

who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,

groan inwardly as we wait eagerly

for our adoption as sons,

the redemption of our bodies.

​

​

Not only all creation but

the firstfruits of the Spirit,

who received Jesus into their hearts

as savior

groan inwardly waiting eagerly

for the redemption of the bodies as well.

That will be the day

Jesus' glorious returning.
