Those controlled by the sinful nature

cannot please God.

​

This verse has a special

personal witness for me as well.

In the eighties, sexual absurdity was

out of control in New York city too.

In school fraternities and sororities,

they were open for men and women.

I was then early thirties.

It was struggle for me to keep purity.

It was of course foolish to get

married for such a reason.

Finally when it came to limit,

finally I prayed.

And read the Bible Romans,

" . . sinful nature cannot please God "

the verse reaching here,

my body felt like having an

ice torrential shower from hairs to toes.

Because human beings only live to

please God: the Bible I read then was

sinful desire cannot please God,

this natural desire cannot please God,

then this should be abandoned.

Yes, the desire lost its power and

it never could come back.

What a freedom the Spirit has given!
