Wealth and honor come from you;

you are the ruler of all things.

In your hands are strength and power

to exalt and give strength to all.

King David knew all his heroic war victories,

never loosing a battle was from God;

consequently the wealth and honor

were given to him.

He knew that God is the one gives

strength and power to anyone he wants.

King David knew all he did and had was

God's favor not by his excellence.
