When Jesus had called the Twelve together,

he gave them power and authority to drive out

all demons and to cure diseases,

and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of

God and to heal the sick.

I have given you authority to trample on

snakes and scorpions and to overcome

all the power of the enemy;

nothing will harm you.

However, do not rejoice that the spirits

submit to you, but rejoice that

your names are written in heaven.

Jesus talked most about Satan and demons,

and derived them out most.

And He has given the same authority and power

to us all his disciples.

Because he desires to give all human beings

life and an abundant life.
