10th day Psalm 69:30,31

​

​

​I will praise God's name in song and

glorify him with thanksgiving.

​This will please the LORD more than an ox,

more than a bull with its horns and hoofs.

​

​

​In Israel, sacrifice is

the greatest expression of

serving and loving the Lord God.

​ 

This costs a lot materially with even

an ox and a bull with its horns and hoofs.

But in fact what the Lord pleases

far more then this and the most is that

his children's song praising him and

being happy; and

glorify him with thanksgiving and

being content in their heavenly father

Thus songs and thanksgivings from

the heart of God's children are most

inexpensive and best sacrifices to

the Lord God.
