                       Praying and singing

About midnight Paul and Silas

were praying and singing hymns

to God, and the other prisoners

were listening to them.

Suddenly there was such a violent

earthquake that the foundations of

the prison were shaken.

At once all the prison doors flew

open, and everybody's chains

came loose. Acts 16:25,26

Paul and Silas were beaten

severly and kept in a deep prison

of Philippi in Europe after good work.

They must had been stunned for

their injust treatment, painful

wounds and uncertainty of future.

A Korean folk saying is true

you will live if you have sound

mind while you are dragged

by a tiger.

They recovered the sound mind

and did praying and singing to

the God's substance.

Their praising was for God's

goodness and unfailing love.

Although it was fearful and

confusing condition for them.

Their praying and praising to

God were unconditional.

These two God's servants' praying

and praising brought violent

earthquake and loosened all

prisoners' chains and opened

the doors of prison.

God who dwells in praise works

in his children's praising.

November, about to finish

Autumn harvest.

Each house has full of crops and

fruit to eat for a year in farm village.

Yellow ginkgo foliage and fallen leaves

with orange persimmon in the blue sky

seem shouting the beauty of their Creator.

It's the peak of thanksgiving.

There are all reasons to thank

the Lord of my life and of all beings.

It is also a great reason to thank

God for preparing my eternal home.

Bless you who have much fruit of

lips with praise to God.
