The last night
John chapters 14-16 are
Jesus' last teaching and promises
to his nurturing disciples.
It was Jesus' last night after
last passover meal.
He so desired to eat this
passover with his disciples.
1500 years ago the angel killing
all the first born passed over
the gates of the houses where
the blood of lamb was smeared.
Jesus last night was the night
instead of the sacrifice of lamb,
Jesus himself sacrifice for all
the sins of believers forever.
The symbolic redemption of
the blood of lamb was
actualized by Jesus' sacrifice.
It was that eve,
The most important eve in
human history Jesus teaching
was deepened in conversation
with his disciples.
Thomas' question, how we
know the way while not
knowing where you are going,
Jesus answered;
"I am the way, the truth and
the life. No one comes to
the Father except me."
He answered only through
Jesus one can come to heaven.
It is only Jesus who has become
human being as God.
Philip asked Jesus only to show
the Father then everything
would be fine for them.
Jesus answered,
"Anyone who has seen me
has seen the Father. "
It is proclamation; Jesus is God.
Judas asked why Jesus only show
to them and not to the world.
Jesus answered there are complete
and eternal separation between
God's kingdom and his people
and Satanic kingdom and people
belonging there.
Such a way the last night was
passing by as Jesus teaching
his disciples about the meaning
of life and its task and
how to accomplish it.
LOVE it was the conclusion.
That night Jesus promised
the Holy Spirit coming to help them.
It was all with his guarantee that
whatever we ask for his desires
in his name he gives.
Today’s Christmas booklet page 41
is continued, the Bible chapter to
memorize each month.
These chapters are the core
Christianity, only in Christian faith.
Now it is the chapter for May, John 14.
John 14-16 are the most heartfelt
Jesus’ promises and request for
his beloved 11 disciples: It was his
last night on earth after last passover
supper before his crucifixion about
12 hours.
“Let my love and my life and my
inheritance be made known to all ”
For this he promised everything:
He promised sending his Spirit,
the Holy Spirit.
His beloved 11 disciples received
Jesus promises of all privileges
as his children and workers.
Now this is the same to all
his children.
