The Counsellor

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit,

whom the Father will send in

my name, will teach you all things

and will remind you of everything

I have said to you. John 14:26

Oh, dear Holy Spirit,

we thank you that you teach

your children and your workers

all things if we only ask

in the process of endless decision

making and situations of facing

incomprehensible events and people.

We are completely secure

because Lord Holy Spirit you are

not only teach us all things but

remind of what even we have

forgotten as the counsellor, helper

and advocate.

In this troubled life, we glorify

and rely on you until the end of

the age for you have not left

us as orphans but as omniscience

and omnipotence helper.

We thank you Holy Spirit!

John 14-16 are the most heartfelt

Jesus’ promises and request for

his beloved 11 disciples: It was his

last night on earth after last passover

supper before his crucifixion about

12 hours.

“Let my love and my life and my

inheritance be made known to all ”

For this he promised everything:

He promised sending his Spirit,

the Holy Spirit.

His beloved 11 disciples received

Jesus promises of all privileges

as his children and workers.

Now this is the same to all

his children.
