Throwing to thank
One of them, when he saw
he was healed, came back,
praising God in a loud voice.
He threw himself at Jesus' feet
and thanked him--and
he was a Samaritan. Luke 17:15,16
Next Sunday is Thanksgiving Sunday
in Korea.
Imagine an healthy man shouting and
throwing himself at the feet of Jesus
and thanking him.
He was a leprosy just a while ago.
Then a leprosy was considered
a cursed and cast out from
the family and society; he wandered
as a begger and ended life early.
No matter how smart, talented or
fine person it was no avail.
Jesus healed all 10 leprosies and
1 came back and thanked him as such.
Those who thanked is 10:1 ratio.
The nature of men, sinners
then and now may be the same;
not to depend on.
Where do I belong to?
November, about to finish
Autumn harvest.
Each house has full of crops and
fruit to eat for a year in farm village.
Yellow ginkgo foliage and fallen leaves
with orange persimmon in the blue sky
seem shouting the beauty of their Creator.
It's the peak of thanksgiving.
There are all reasons to thank
the Lord of my life and of all beings.
It is also a great reason to thank
God for preparing my eternal home.
Bless you who have much fruit of
lips with praise to God.
